The Times Press Recorder reports that the San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors will vote on funds for the Prado Road Interchange. The contemplated interchange will help to alleviate traffic in for the Dalidio Project, a massive mixed use project that will include a 150 room hotel and 60 residential units. It is expected that taxes derived from the $57 million dollar project (which will include commercial space for Target and Lowe’s) will help pay for the interchange.

Now onto the real estate market update for Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, and Avila Beach. My last snapshot for this area was taken on May 10, 2007. Inventory continues to reach upward in these areas, the previous figure was 142, and now there are 149 homes on the market. The number of homes under contract remains pretty flat at 29 compared to the last figure of 30. In the last 30 days, there were 36 new listings, 8 expired listings and 13 sales. The median price for a sold home during that period was $725,000. That would have purchased this 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1800 square foot home, on a 4600 square foot lot in Pismo Beach. Take a peek.
